How do you balance study time and free time?
Hvordan balancerer du studietid og fritid? Godt svar:
I try to balance study and free time by finishing the most important work first. If I have homework or a test coming soon, I do that before watching videos or meeting friends. After I finish one clear task, I take a proper break and enjoy it more because I am not thinking about unfinished work. This plan is simple, but it helps me feel less guilty when I relax in the evening. I also avoid starting new study tasks too late at night.
What happens when students do not have enough free time?
Godt svar:
When students do not have enough free time, they can become tired and lose motivation. At first, they may think studying all day is a good idea, but after a while they cannot focus well. They may read the same page many times and remember very little. Free time helps the brain rest, so without it, even hardworking students can feel slower, more stressed, and less confident about their progress. They may also start to dislike subjects they used to enjoy.
Do you think free time should be planned, or should it be flexible?
Godt svar:
I think free time should be partly planned and partly flexible. If students never plan it, study can fill the whole day, and they may not stop until they are too tired. Planning a walk, a meal with friends, or exercise makes rest more likely to happen. At the same time, students need flexibility because some days are harder than expected. A good balance gives structure without making free time feel like another duty. Students should protect free time, but not make it stressful.
What advice would you give to someone who studies too much and feels tired?
Godt svar:
They need a real break, not just time at the desk with books open. They could go outside, eat something, or talk to another person for a while. When someone is very tired, more study time may not produce better results. After a proper break, they can choose one small task and finish that first. This feels more useful than trying to do everything while feeling exhausted. A short break can make the next study hour much more effective overall.
