What do you think makes an education good, apart from exam results?
جواب خوبیه:
A good education should help people understand the world and also know how to act in it. Exam results are important, but they are only one part. Students also need to ask questions, explain their opinions, work with others and make sensible decisions. If someone gets high marks but cannot communicate or solve problems, I would not call that a complete education.
Has the purpose of education changed in recent years?
جواب خوبیه:
Yes, I think it has changed. In the past, education was often about learning information because books and teachers were the main sources of knowledge. Now information is easy to find online, so the purpose is more about judging it and using it well. Students need to know whether a source is reliable and how to apply knowledge to a real problem.
Which is more important in school: learning facts or learning practical skills?
جواب خوبیه:
I think both are necessary, but they need each other. Practical skills without facts can become shallow, because you may not understand why something works. But facts without skills can also be useless, because you cannot apply them. For example, in science, students need knowledge of biology, but they also need to interpret results and explain conclusions.
Some people say schools should prepare students mainly for work. Do you agree?
جواب خوبیه:
I agree only partly. Schools should prepare students for work because most people need jobs and financial independence. They should learn communication, problem-solving and basic digital skills. But school should not become only job training. Education should also help people understand society, culture and themselves. Otherwise students may become employable but not thoughtful citizens.
If you could improve one thing in your education system, what would you change?
جواب خوبیه:
I would make lessons more connected to real problems. For example, students could use maths to plan a budget, or science to understand local environmental issues. This would not replace traditional subjects, but it would make them feel more useful. I think students are more motivated when they can see why knowledge matters outside the classroom.
