Where is your hometown?

I'm from Bath, a lovely little city in the south-west of England. It's famous for its Georgian buildings and, of course, the old Roman baths which draw tourists all year round. When I was growing up, I always enjoyed the charm of the cobbled streets and the peace and quiet of the countryside just outside the city.

What do you like most about your hometown?

What I really like about Bath is how well history and nature sit side by side. On one hand, you've got incredible landmarks like the Royal Crescent and the Roman baths. On the other, you're surrounded by rolling green hills where you can properly switch off from city life. For me, it's a place that connects the past with the beauty of the outdoors.

Is your hometown a good place for young people?

Yes, I'd say Bath is a brilliant place for young people. There are loads of cultural events and festivals going on throughout the year, and the universities and colleges are very well-regarded. Plus, being so close to the countryside means there's plenty to do outside, so it gives a nice balance between study, leisure, and fresh air.

Would you like to live in your hometown in the future?

I do find the idea of living in Bath long-term quite appealing. It's got that lovely historic feel but, at the same time, all the modern bits and pieces you'd expect. The fact that I'd be near family and familiar places adds an extra sense of comfort too. Altogether, I can picture myself doing well there, both in my personal life and career.
