Would you prefer to live in a village or a city? Why?
Jawapan yang baik:
I would probably choose a city at this stage of my life because there are more opportunities for study, work and social activities. I like having libraries, transport and different places to meet friends nearby. However, I would want access to parks or quiet streets too, because a city can become tiring if everything is crowded and noisy.
How is daily life different in villages and cities?
Jawapan yang baik:
Daily life in a city is usually faster and more varied. People may travel by bus or train, meet different groups of people and have more choices after school or work. In a village, life may be quieter and more predictable. That can be comforting, but it can also feel limiting if there are few activities or jobs.
Why do some people move from villages to cities?
Jawapan yang baik:
Many people move to cities because of education and work. Universities, offices and training opportunities are often concentrated there. A young person may feel that staying in a village limits their future. The disadvantage is that city life can be expensive and stressful, so the move may bring opportunity but also financial pressure.
Some people say city life is bad for people’s health. What do you think?
Jawapan yang baik:
I partly agree. City life can be unhealthy because of pollution, noise and long journeys. People may spend a lot of time sitting on buses or trains and have less contact with nature. However, cities can also offer gyms, hospitals and social activities. The problem is not simply the city; it is how the city is designed.
What could make villages or cities better places to live?
Jawapan yang baik:
Cities would be better if housing was more affordable and public transport was cleaner and more reliable. Many people enjoy city opportunities but struggle with cost and stress. Better transport would help workers, students and older people. More green spaces would also make cities feel less aggressive and give people places to relax.
