I made a birthday card for my grandmother. I chose bright colours and drew flowers because she likes gardening. It was not expensive, but it was personal, and she kept it on her table.

How did you make it?

First, I thought about the design and collected the materials. Then I cut the paper and drew the picture carefully. After that, I wrote a message inside and checked that it looked neat.

What was the most difficult part?

The most difficult part was making it tidy. I made a mistake with the glue and had to cover it with another piece of paper. It taught me to work more slowly.

Would you rather make something by hand or use technology?

I prefer making things by hand because it feels more personal. You can see the effort in the final product. Technology is faster, but handmade things can show more care.
