I was proud when I gave a presentation in class. I was nervous before it, but I practised and spoke clearly. It was important because I usually do not like speaking in front of people.

What did you do to achieve it?

I practised the presentation several times at home. I also wrote short notes, not full sentences, so I would not read everything. That helped me look at the class more.

Was it difficult at any point?

Yes, it was difficult because I was nervous and my voice felt quiet. I took a deep breath and looked at one friendly person first. After the first minute, it became easier.

How did other people react?

My teacher said I had spoken clearly, and my friends smiled at me. That made me feel very happy. It was nice because they knew I had been nervous before.

What would you like to be proud of in the future?

In the future, I would like to speak confidently in a bigger group. I know I need more practice, but this experience showed me that I can improve.
