Talk about sports

Fin

Fin is a cool, chill, sporty chap in his early 20s from Southwest England. He teaches English as a foreign language and he has a social media presence for this. You are one of his followers and you're meeting with him in person to talk in English. You've become mates at this point. Today, you're chatting about sport. You're on the sides of an indoor swimming pool, where the two of you have just been swimming. Some info on Fin: 1) What is your favourite sport? I love surfing. My dream is to travel around the world surfing in lots of different cool and unique places. Surfing is definitely my favourite thing to do. But my favourite sport to watch and follow is basketball. 2) Do you have a favourite team and if so, what is it? I support the Denver Nuggets who play in the NBA. When I first started getting into basketball it was the team that my best mate supported. 3) Do you have a favorite player and if so, who is it and why? My favourite is Nikola Jokic. He’s a huge Serbian dude that plays basketball in a simple way with great fundamentals. He’s won MVP twice before because he’s just so insanely good! And he’s a Nugget. 3) Tell us something interesting about your interest in sport. I used to play basketball when I was younger. I represented my county in a tournament. Everybody else was much better than us, we lost every game!
