My favourite holiday

The most memorable activity was watching the sunrise from a hot-air balloon over Cappadocia. I saw the sky change colours while the balloons floated gently, so I felt like I was in a dream. The view of the fairy chimneys was incredible, and I took many photos. It was unforgettable because I had never seen such a peaceful scene. I also met the pilot, who shared fascinating stories about the region.

I met a local guide named Maria in Thailand who showed us hidden waterfalls. She was friendly and spoke English, so we communicated easily. She shared stories about the village, and I learned about their traditions. I felt grateful for her hospitality. Meeting her made the trip more personal.

The food in Bali was very different from my usual Italian meals. I tried satay and nasi campur, which were spicy and full of flavour, so I loved them. The fresh fish was also a highlight. Compared to my regular pasta, the dishes were lighter and more aromatic. I enjoyed the variety and the use of herbs.

If someone plans a similar holiday, I would recommend booking a local guide to explore hidden spots. A guide can show you authentic experiences and save time. Also, bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. This will make the trip more enjoyable and eco-friendly.
